Q: What Skin Reactions will I expect after using DR’s Secret and what should I do?
Depending on your skin condition, you will experience different reactions due to the removal of dead skin cells from underneath the skin is revealed on the surface area. Do continue application during this process.

Q. How long does it take to see results?
After using DR’s Secret for 30 days, you will be expected to see 50% improvement in your skin. When you complete 2 sets of DR’s Secret, there will be 80% improvement in your skin. For those who are over 40 years of age or have serious skin problems, we recommend 4 sets of DR’s Secret for desirable results. After which, DR’s Secret N Series is recommended for skin maintainance after reconstruction period.
Q: I have sensitive skin, can i use DR’s Secret?
A: Yes, you can use DR’s Secret. It is made from natural ingredients and it is suitable for all skin types.
Q: I have been using DR’s Secret for two weeks and i am experiencing reddish spots… help!
A: In the initial stages of applying DR’s Secret, the impurities and dead skin cells are being pushed out of the skin from within, allowing new skin cells to grow. The reactions will last for approximately a month, do apply T3 Skinlight (more: faster reactions less: slower reaction) at the mean time.
Note: The New T Series is an improved version of the old series and you will not experience as much reactions from your skin during the initial period as the process is being slowed down.
T3 Skinlight has the same whitening effect as the old Skinlight. However, it has been enriched with renewal properties to aid the renewal process. In conclusion, T3 Skinlight is now stronger than T4 Skinrecon.
For T4, it has been toned down. It aids T3 in the renewal process. The effects of T4 has been toned down, however it still performs the same functions as the old Skinrecon.
It is best to mix T3 and T4 together before application for the desirable results.
Q. Can I apply DR’s Secret around or near eye area?
It is advisable to avoid applying at the corners of your eyes, nose and mouth as the skin in these areas are thinner and may peel off easily.
Q. Why is it not advisable to use make-up when using DR’s Secret?
Make up contains chemical substances that might harm the skin. Substances like wax and oil in cosmetics will slow down the process of re-construction and re-conditioning. It is advisable to apply a layer of Sunscreen over the skin to prevent make up from seeping into the skin.
Q: I got to know about Dr Secret’s skincare from a friend and colleague. i noticed that for a woman who is in her Mid 40’s, her skin was exceptionally dewy and moist, fair and unblemished. There was no sign of freckles or blemishes expected of a woman in her mid 40’s. She told me that she is using Dr Secret’s skincare. I would like to know more.
A: From your friend’s complexion, she has probably been using DR’s Secret for a couple of years. She looks younger her age as DR’s Secret contains anti aging ingredients. As it works from within, it brings out her skin’s natural glow.
Our skin is covered by dead skin cells and other impurities on the surface layer. By removing the impurities, the skin appears radiant, smooth and fair. To maintain the skin, we have to nourish it with vitamins and minerals (like watering a plant for example).
Q: I was wondering whether i should use the T series or the N series of dr secret. I am 24 yrs and have blemished skin. However i would also like to preserve my youthfulness. I have no wrinkles and minimal freckles. And i dont like to apply products that are overly strong on my skin. Please advise on which series is better for me.
If you are starting out on a skincare regime, you should use the N series. It is specially formulated for younger skin. It works in the way that it preserves your skin’s youthfulness by retaining the nutrients and nourishing it with additional Vitamin C. It also gives your skin elasticity and firmness by closing up pores (eg: acne scars, uneven skin).
If you have blemished skin, you should consider using the Pimple Serum along with DR’s Secret N Series. The pimple serum is very effective for blemished skin, you have to apply it along with DR’s Secret N Series program for effectiveness.
Freckles is caused by the weather in temperate countries. During summer, the skin pores expand and during winter, the skin pores contract. This results in trapped pigmentation in the skin. To progressively lighten freckles, you should apply Sunblock in the day and Melablock N3 at night to lighten the skin, especially on the areas where it needs lightening.
Q: I find that my face remains quite the same as before and due to my sensitive skin and especially after using T3 (it will cause tingling sensation whenever I applied) my face becomes quite red and itchy at times.
Your skin might be unsuitable for the T series as it is too strong, so you are experiencing reactions.
You should use the N series, it has been launched recently for younger skin. The N series is much milder as compared to the T series. It is especially suitable for those who are starting out on a skincare regime for the first time. It is formulated with lighter and milder ingredients to maintain and nourish young skin with vitamins and nutrients.
Q: My friend has just introduced this brand to me, but I am not sure if I should use the N Series or T-series. I will reach 30 next year and have been suffering from acnes these years and would really want to get rid of them. From the blog I read, I learnt that I should start with T-series, but as from the information above, people who are less than 40 should start with N-series.
DR’s Secret N Series (Younger Skin): Those who are using a skin care regime for the first time or mild skin condition like slight acne. It is recommended for those who want to start maintaining their skin.

Q: Does Skinlight contain Hydroquinone?
The previous old skinlight does contain hydroquinone.
The new Skinlight T3 has no hydroquinone, hence the whitening effect will be slower, giving the skin a natural white glow.
Q: Can I use DR’s Secret for Eczema skin?
DR’s Secret T and N Series is NOT recommended for eczema skin, psoriasis, silicon implant on face.

Q: Which series is good for firming and lifting of the skin? Does it also help in pitted holes and scars?
Both DR’s Secret T and N Series can firm and lift the skin by treating uneven skin tone. For enlarged pores Skinrecon T4 helps to close the pores over time, but it will take ( 3 - 6 months ) to see the effects. I would also recommend DR’s Secret C15 Essence for skin firming (to be applied on specific areas).
Depending on your skin condition. For example, if you have severe skin condition (e.g: scars, enlarged pores) I would recommend the T Series as a reconstructive way of renewing your skin cells.
For mild skin condition (slight scars and tiny pores), you should use the N Series, it is suitable so as to maintain and improve the skin’s current condition.

I wonder what the difference between T line and N line. And, my situation is that my face has some spots (brown).
And, I want to buy something to eliminate my spots , but for me buying the whole line is so expensive to me. So, for only eliminating my spots, Which product will be good enough to do that ? Thanks
The T Series is a Treatment Program to fix skin problems.
The N Series is a Maintenance Program to maintain the skin’s current condition.
I would recommend a combination of T3 Skinlight and T4 Skinrecon to be used to lighten the spots. They should be mixed before application. T3 Skinlight lightens the spot while T4 Skinrecon removes dead skin cells underneath the skin.
I would also recommend Sunscreen to be applied in the day, prevention is better than cure! Dark spots are the result of pigmentation in the skin caused by sunlight.

For Acne Scars, I would recommend DRs Secret T Series. T Series is an effective treatment program in regenerating skin cells. Acne scars are old scar tissues (dead skin cells), it can be removed through the skin renewal process. The old skin cells will be pushed out from the skin and new skin cells will merge, giving your skin a natural radiant glow. What is best about this treatment program is that it reveals your natural skin from within! The skin renewal process will take 2 - 3 months. From our experience, at least two sets of DRs Secret T Series to be used for a 6 months period to see better results because it will take more time for old scars to be pushed out of the skin.

You can either use the T Series or N Series depending on the severity of your condition.
Skin flaking occurs due to lack of moisture. It is associated with dehydrated skin. It might be due to dry weather, air conditioning or harsh treatment of the skin. I would recommend that you start applying moisturiser to stop the flaking.
The T(reatment) Series with Moisturiser is suitable for dehydrated skin. I would recommend you to use one or two sets of the T Series with Moisturiser to correct the skin condition before moving to the N Series (maintenance). Read here for information regarding using T Series for Dehydrated Skin.
For the N Series. It is more moisturising for the skin as compared to the T Series. However, it does not correct pre existing skin problems. It is more suitable for skin maintenance. The N Series contains Vitamin C which hydrates the skin. Read more about the N Series here.

Skin pigmentation forms due to exposure to sunlight, in order to prevent pigmentation, it is necessary to apply Sunscreen during the day.
There are no long term solutions to pigmentation, only prevention (through applying sunscreen) and lightening (to be applied at night before sleep).
I would recommend you to start on the DR’s Secret T(reatment) Series Program, it contains Cleanser (Daily Wash), Toner (Refine Skin Texture), Skinlight (for Skin Lightening), Skinrecon (Skin Reconditioning) and Sunscreen (Protect skin against harmful UV rays).
DRs Secret is suitable for sensitive skin, the ingredients are mainly from plant extracts.

I could also recommend that you take Evening Primose Oil (or Blackcurrant Seed Oil) as your acne breakout is a result of your period. I ‘m a dr.secret user for 4 years. At first my skin really glow (for few months) and its back to normal again like previous. Large pores & pimples.
Please help, i cant change to other products also, will have pimples breakout whenever change. I just want to know is it more effective if i use with Touch or Miraglo? As i have try both T & N series but its seem dont cure my problems (large pores & pimples)

I have used old Dr Secret range for 2 year. The skin condition improved, however the pores seems to be enlarged overtime. Please advice…
Because I used old Skinlight no.3 which contained Hydroquinone, please advice the % of hydroquinone in the product and whether it is still safe.

You might want to try Refining serum to shrink large pores and pimple serum for pimples as well as N Series program. Using DR’s Secret with DR’s Secret Touch will increase skin absorption rate by 400%. Miraglo is for skin exfoliation, to be used once two twice a week.
